Hoi Anis famous for its preservation of original Chinese temples, the Japanese bridge and the imposing homes of rich merchants from the past. It is listed as a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE because it’s truly a magical place to visit.

Day 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI

Arrive in Hanoi, transfer to the hotel. Stroll around the downtown to explore the different local ways of life and if the time permit

Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR (B)

Full-day private city tour. The post-colonial capital city of Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, numerous lakes, pagodas and temples. This full day tour takes you around Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his Stilt House, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby. Also visit the Old Quarter known for its 36 streets and former craft guilds, the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, peaceful West Lake with lovers’ street Thanh Nien, visit central sector of the Imperial citadel of Thang Long Hanoi, a world cultural heritage site recognized by Unesco in 2010, take 1hour cyclo tour around the Old Quarter, visit the local market. Enjoy the evening water puppet performance.

Day 3: HANOI - HA LONG (B, L, D)

Overland to Ha Long Bay which is two times awarded the World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO World Heritage Committee in 1994 and 2000. Upon arrival, we board a traditional wooden junk to discover the breathtaking Ha Long Bay, Vietnam most wonderful scenic sight; take a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery, skylined with over 3,000 limestone islets rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water, with hundreds of peerless karst formations and beautiful grottoes and caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisure swim in a secluded cove or climb on a hill for a spectacular overview of the Bay. Overnight on board.
Day 4: HA LONG– NINH BINH (Brunch)

Continue cruise around this magnificent landscape visiting Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island, cave of Surprise, the biggest and most beautiful cave in Ha Long beautifully decorated by thousand of stalactites and stalagmites.

Afternoon leave Ha Long for Trang An landscape complex, which was recognized world mixed heritage by Unesco in 2014.

Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 5: TRANG AN – THANH HOA – DONG HOI (B)

In the morning, take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Ha Long Bay on land of Ninh Binh.

Afternoon, drive to Thanh Hoa to see Citadel of the Ho Dynasty, recognized as world cultural heritage in 2011, built according to the feng shui principles, testifies to the flowering of neo-Confucianism in late 14th century Viet Nam and its spread to other parts of east Asia. According to these principles it was sited in a landscape of great scenic beauty on an axis joining the Tuong Son and Don Son mountains in a plain between the Ma and Buoi rivers. The citadel buildings represent an outstanding example of a new style of south-east Asian imperial city.

In the evening, transfer to the train station for a night train to Dong Hoi.

Day 6: DONG HOI - PHONG NHA - DONG HOI (B)

Early morning arrive in Dong Hoi. After breakfast we proceed to Phong Nha. Boat cruise to discover Phong Nha, a recognized World Natural Heritage Site since 2003 and one of the world’s two largest limestone regions; opportunities to explore the world’s longest underground river, the largest caverns and passageways, the widest and prettiest sand banks, and the most astonishing rock formations. Return to Dong Hoi.

Day 7: DONG HOI - HUE (B, D)

We drive to Hue, Vietnam’s last feudal capital, a recognized World Cultural Heritage Site since 1993.

Visit the Imperial Citadel, the Purple Forbidden City, the bustling Dong Ba market.

Evening enjoy a royal dinner with Hue traditional music and songs while we dress like Emperor, Empress or Mandarins.

Day 8: HUE (B)

Morning boat cruise on the romantic Perfume river to visit Hue’s oldest and best-known religious site, Thien Mu pagoda, and to the elaborate mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang.

Afternoon we continue to visit the elaborate royal tombs of Emperor Tu Duc and Khai Dinh, the ancient pagodas built over 300 years ago.

Day 9: HUE - HOI AN (B)

Morning departure to Hoi An. We walk around this ancient town of 600-year old, an exceptionally well-preserved example of a traditional Asian trading port and a recognized World Cultural Heritage Site since 1999. Visit its colourful pagodas, temples, ancient houses, narrow streets and amazing bridges with exclusive architecture of mixed Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese styles from the 16th century.

Late afternoon, excursion to Cam Chau village to see villagers make their traditional lanterns.

Day 10: MY SON (B)

Excursion to My Son Holyland, an exceptional example of cultural interchange, with the introduction of the Hindu architecture of the Indian sub-continent into South East Asia, was recognized the World Cultural Heritage Site in the 23rd session of UNESCO World Heritage Committee in December 1999. Contemplate the extraordinary brick towers and sanctuaries dating back to between the 7th and the 13th centuries of the former spiritual and political capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years.

Back to Hoi An. Take a sunset boat trip through the tranquil scenery of Thu Bon River to see the local life along both sides of the river. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11: HOI AN - DA NANG - HO CHI MINH CITY (B)

Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh city, the most exciting city of Vietnam, a mecca of commerce, also a city with a chequered history and a rich culture, its pagodas, museums, public buildings, parks and boulevards make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Vietnam. Visit the Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office, the History Museum, the China town with Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay Wholesale Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 12: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA – DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast at hotel, we will take a full day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta, just 1 hour and half by road from Ho Chi Minh City. We will have a full day trip here to catch a glimpse of the famous Mekong River. Upon arrival we will take a boat trip along narrow waterways overhung with dense vegetation visiting the fish wharf, the 4 famous islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix. Visit candy workshop then journey by sampan through the canals and mangrove forests where we watch the fishermen lay their fish traps. Enjoy time on the Unicorn Island visiting the local fruit, tea mixed with bee’s honey, and enjoy a locally produced folk show of traditional Mekong Delta music. In the late afternoon, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. Free at leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure flight. End of services.
